Christine opened her first Store in Bexley in 1997 and 7 years later she opened a 2nd store in downtown Columbus across the street from the Ohio State Capital. The downtown store changed who we were from a small shop in Bexley to a two store operation that helped expand the brand. In 2010 Christine purchased the University Flower Shop and again changed who we were, not just by adding a third location, but by also changing our brand to include becoming a proud part of Buckeye Nation! After a few years of operating three shops she made the difficult decision to close the downtown store and concentrate on the two mains locations, Bexley and Campus. While doing all of this she took the time to develop what would become Columbus’ premier online shopping experience with the website cuFlowers.com. The “C” stands for Christine’s and the “U” stands for University. We are proud to be a top Nationally Ranked Teleflora Member, but what we are most proud of is being your local hometown florist. Our motto for almost 90 years is that we are your “Your Gift Giving Partner serving Central Ohio, Creating a lifetime of memories since 1932”.

Founded over 100 years ago as a village, Bexley is a beautiful, old fashioned, tree lined urban suburb of Columbus. The Governor of Ohio and the President of the Ohio State University both reside in Bexley and many other important citizens are from Bexley. Opened in 1997, the Bexley store was the 1st Christine's Garden. This is our flagship store and is a very important part of who we are today. We are very proud to call Bexley our home. We are located next to Anthony Thomas Candy, Johnson's Ice Cream and Boston Market. Christine's, The University Flower Shop and the website cuFlowers.com are not affiliated with The Ohio State University.
