OSU is the third-largest university campus in the United States. Known as the Buckeyes, the Football program has been recognized by the university and NCAA-Division1 as having won eight national championships and has been playing in the Horseshoe since 1922. The greatest undisputed Buckeye of all time however was the great James Cleveland "Jesse" Owens (September 12, 1913 – March 31, 1980) who was an All American track and field athlete at Ohio State and won a record eight individual NCAA championships, four each in 1935 and 1936 and went on to become a four-time gold medalist in the 1936 Olympic Games. Our University Flower Shop opened in 1932 and we like to believe that Jesse was one of our first customers!
The University Flower Shop is the only florist on the Ohio State Campus! We deliver to all the Dorms, Student Learning Halls, The Student Union and Library and every building in between. We also offer same-day delivery Get Well flowers to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Main Hospital, including Rhodes Hall and Doan Hall, The James Cancer Hospital Solove Research Institute, The Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, The OSU Brain & Spine Center, The OSU Harding Hospital and The Dodd Rehabilitation Center.
